Our client are a well-established general contractor specializing in Data Center construction. With a strong reputation for quality work and on-time delivery, we are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead major Data Center projects in Dallas.
Job Description:
As a Senior Project Manager, you will oversee all aspects of large-scale Data Center construction projects from inception to completion. You will be responsible for ensuring projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and meet stringent quality and performance standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the planning, coordination, and execution of Data Center construction projects.
Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and work plans.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations, data security requirements, and company policies.
Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure seamless project execution.
Oversee procurement of specialized materials and equipment required for Data Center projects.
Monitor project progress, proactively addressing any challenges or delays.
Prepare and present project reports and updates to stakeholders and executives.
Negotiate contracts and manage vendor relationships.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
Minimum of 8 years of experience in project management within the Data Center construction industry.
In-depth knowledge of Data Center infrastructure, including power, cooling, and security systems.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
PMP certification or equivalent is a plus.
